Why, Fat Burning Tips On Your Stomach? Because your body is a complex organism, and yes I know this is an understatement.
When you’re trying to get a six pack, your main goal should be to reduce your fat percentage to the single digits. You want to aim for 8% to 9%.
Most men who are determined enough to shed most of their excess fat may reach a stage where they are at around 12% to 14% body fat. This is a fantastic achievement. However, it is not enough.Why is the last bit of FAT the most difficult to Shift?
You will be lean and nobody in their right mind will call you fat. Yet, you’re not satisfied because despite your hard work and strict diet, you just can’t seem to melt off the last bit of fat on your stomach. It’s more stubborn than a bull.
Why? Why can’t you get rid of the last layer of fat?
There are a few reasons for this… and it has everything to do with your body being complex.
Firstly, are you getting enough sleep?
Yes… sleep is crucial to getting ripped. Your body needs rest. If you’re constantly tired due to late nights and you’re burning the candle at both ends, your body will not burn off the excess fat.
This is due to stress… which is the second reason. Stress indirectly causes the body to store fat. If your workouts are too hard and you’re not getting enough rest between workouts, you’ll be taxing your nervous system.
This is not a good thing. Many people, who do HIIT workouts often, suddenly hit plateaus. To break this plateau, they workout more and work out harder. Usually, the weight still doesn’t come off and they are just more tired.
By switching to steady state cardio at a slow pace for a week or two, they will be able to melt off the last layer of fat on the belly. The body gets a break from the hard workouts and melts off the fat it was holding on to.
Nobody really can state for sure why the body reacts this way. It just does. If you have done your best and the last layer of fat is just not coming off, you need to adjust one variable at a time. Maybe get more sleep or eat less carbs.
Always only change one variable for a week and see if it helps. If you change too many things, you will not know which one is working.
You can change the number of sets in your workout, rep ranges, diet, sleeping hours, workout times, choice of cardio, etc.
The changes will give your body something new to deal with and it will be forced to cope. This will mean that it will make adjustments within and burn up any stubborn fat.
It’s also worth noting that the last layer of fat has often been there for years and even in your body, it may have hardened a little. It will take time to melt these fats off. If you stay the course, it is inevitable that your body will finally give in and melt the fats.
Make tweaks as and when necessary. If things are not working, change them up. You must constantly monitor your results and make changes to achieve your goal. Don’t just do the same thing over and over and expect the situation to change.
