2. Cover and let sit for one hour on the counter.
3. Stir and enjoy. If you prefer you can also put it in the fridge to chill it before eating.

  • 2/3 cup silver tequila
  • 2 tbsp. orange liqueur
  • 2 cups ice water

  1. Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

The ingredients are standard. I suggest picking 3-6 fruit from the list and creating your own mixtures based on what you enjoy and what you find at your local farmer’s market.

You want to make sure the fruit is ripe, washed, and cut into pieces big enough to put on a skewer.

  • Skewers
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3-6 of the following fruit, prepared for kebabs
  • Pineapple
  • Banana
  • Plums
  • Strawberries

  • Apricots

Instructions:

  1. Prepare and chop all fruit.
  2. Turn your grill on medium and let it heat up.
  3. Put 4-8 pieces of fruit on each skewer, arranged however you please.
  4. Mix the melted coconut oil and honey in a small bowl.
  5. Use a brush to coat the kebabs with the honey and oil mixture.
  6. Place kebabs on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning every 30-45 seconds.
  7. When the fruit is softening and has grill marks the kebabs are done

There will be a lot of motivation and support initially and everybody will be in your corner motivating you. So, you say “Cool! I’m going to shed this fat and be done with it!”

Can honey be used to treat herpes, honey has been used as an herbal remedy for thousands of years. It is anti-microbial and has properties that speed up healing. Over time, people have forgotten about using honey as a method of treatment and reach for the over-the-counter creams instead.

Nevertheless, honey is still as potent and effective. It can be used to treat herpes sores and bring relief. Studies have shown that treating herpes sores with honey was actually more effective than using topical creams such as acyclovir.

The best option is Manuka honey that is in a fluid state. Method of application is pretty straightforward. Just apply the honey directly on your sores or blisters. Do this for about 3 to 4 times a day. Ideally, the sores should be covered with honey for as long as possible.

This may be inconvenient at times but is par for the course if you wish to treat your herpes.

There are hardly any side effects to using honey. The honey works on the cold sores in 3 ways.

It dries up the sores by drawing moisture and fluids away from them. It reacts with the sores to produce small amounts of hydrogen peroxide which disinfect the sores. Lastly, it prevents the bacteria from multiplying and spreading.

Honey truly is a very potent remedy against herpes sores. Of course, there are many other remedies such as aloe vera, oregano oil, etc. However, if you have cold sores, you should give raw Manuka honey a try and see if it works for you.
